Ken Bailey Memorial Tournament Champions.
What an amazing weekend of hockey for our kids. In such a short time they have learned to work together as a team an compete as hard as they possibly can every game.
The weekend started out with a hard fought win over East Lambton 3-2 followed by wins over Orono 9-0 and Goderich 5-1. We then moved on to the semi-finals on Sunday and the kids worked really hard and came away with a win over Aylmer 4-1.
The finals were set with Ilderton vs Lucan. The Lucan team is a well coached team and the Lucan kids did an amazing job fighting hard all the time and never giving up. In the end Ilderton won 3-0 and were tournament champions.
I could not be more proud of our group of kids who all contribute to the game and try their best all the time.
