Early exit from Regional Silverstick in South Huron!
The tourney started off with an opening game 3-1 loss to league rival Petrolia,
putting the boys in a must win situation for the remaining 2 games.
Game 2 was a low scoring game vs Blythe-Brussels ending in a 1-1 tie.
We had plenty of chances but couldn't find the back of the net.
We had our hopes set on rival Petrolia beating Blythe-Brussels,
which would give us a chance to move on with a victory over the BCH Icedogs in game 3.
Unfortunately our lack of offence resulted in a 1-0 victory for the Dogs,
eliminating the boys from the Silver Stick.
This was the first appearance in a Silver Stick tourney for most of these boys
realizing a valuable experience overall.
