2019-2020 Ilderton Jets Girls Atom
My Name is Chris Hare and I will be the head coach this year and I would like to welcome you to the Ilderton Jets Girls Atom Program for the 2019/20 season. I am excited for the opportunity and look forward to a fun season.
I have a very simple philosophy when it comes to coaching. I want the girls to have fun, improve their skills, work hard, work as a team, learn to win and lose with class, become great friends and develop a lifelong love of this great game.
Tryout dates and times are posted on the Jets website. Please refer to the website regularly incase times or dates happen to change. I will update this team webpage after each tryout session with any new information, including players moving forward in the process and final team roster when completed.
On Monday, players will be given a pre-assigned jersey, at the sign in table, to wear with a specific number and colour for the duration of tryouts. Please do not switch jerseys with another player. The tryouts will consist of skill evaluations through drills, scrimmages, and maybe exhibition game(s). Selection of the team will be made with the assistance of Ilderton Jets Executive and outside evaluators who have no association to the players.
Any player coming from another organization must present a permission to skate from their last organization to be able to go on the ice and participate.
